I’m Alex, one of the EBS podcast hosts and founder of YouMore, a video content business.  I have always loved hearing the stories of those who have built incredible businesses. But often, the best stories don’t get told – they don’t make the papers or the press releases.  EBS was born out of wanting to hear more of those untold stories from incredible businesses right here in my own city of Edinburgh. I hope you enjoy the conversations and love getting a behind the scenes sneak peek into some very well known (and some not so known) Edinburgh business stories.

Alan is a certified business coach, a member of the UK ActionCOACH coaching team and a real champion of business owners throughout Edinburgh and The Lothians. Having coached over 100 SME businesses, Alan is very familiar with the challenges owners face day-to-day and very much understands the emotional roller-coaster business ownership can bring. Equally, he knows the traits owners need to have to be successful and he’s helped many businesses growth profitably, run slicker and ultimately achieve successful exit. As an avid learner and a huge fan of podcasts himself, launching his own podcast was a “no brainer”. With a fun, curious and open approach Alan creates the conditions for guests to tell their story in a relaxed conversational style.
